DC Army National Guard seeks a Transportation Management Coordinator to schedule and coordinate transportation for personnel and equipment, ensuring cargo and Soldiers reach destinations. You will oversee vehicles such as semi-tractor trailers and heavy transports, coordinating convoys and transport entitlements.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and six weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid benefits and opportunities for tuition assistance and veteran programs.

Qualifications

• Interest in motor vehicles, aircraft, and ocean liner vessels.
• Experience in coordinating transportation.
• Interest in planning events and working with people.

Responsibilities

• Manage convoys, bills of lading, scheduling, and securing transportation for personnel and equipment.
• Advise constituents of shipment and travel entitlements; request and coordinate transport capability.
• Mark, document, and inventory freight, cargo, and material shipments; operate automated data terminal equipment.
• Arrange documentation and reports for follow-up, or responses to tracer actions.
