Fehr & Peers is seeking interns to join our transportation planning practice in the United States. Interns will analyze planning problems, communicate findings clearly, and use software to inform recommendations.
Projects span traffic operations, bicycle/pedestrian planning, freight movement, and regional plans, with emphasis on learning and professional growth. Hours are flexible; interns gain feedback and collaborate with staff at all levels.

Our intern program focuses on skills development while maximizing opportunities for learning and professional experience.Internships are available for a semester, summer, or throughout the year. Hours and work schedules will be determined based on your availability and the office’s needs. Interns will be provided with continuous feedback and can collaborate with staff at all levels on projects to aid in their career development and gain insight into a career in transportation consulting. Our interns take on similar tasks and responsibilities as entry-level staff.
$25 - $28 an hour
Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
Sick Time: While interns are not eligible for our full benefits package, sick time is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
