Fehr & Peers is seeking an internship focused on transportation planning with hands-on project work. You will analyze planning problems, communicate clearly, and use software to support recommendations across diverse projects.
Ideal candidates are pursuing or have a degree in transportation, civil engineering, urban planning, or related fields, with strong Excel, GIS, and modeling skills. The program emphasizes learning, feedback, and collaboration across levels.

Our intern program focuses on skills development while maximizing opportunities for learning and professional experience.Internships are available for a semester, summer, or throughout the year. Hours and work schedules will be determined based on your availability and the office's needs. Interns will be provided with continuous feedback and can collaborate with staff at all levels on projects to aid in their career development and gain insight into a career in transportation consulting. Our interns take on similar tasks and responsibilities as entry-level staff.
$25 - $28 an hour
Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
Sick Time: While interns are not eligible for our full benefits package, sick time is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
