Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. invites interns to join the Transportation Division in Little Falls, NJ and Kearney, NJ, gaining hands-on experience in project engineering and field management on jobsites or in offices.

The program prepares you for leadership roles across divisions and may involve travel across the United States. We seek candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with a 12‑week schedule preferred; relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willing to relocate may be required.
• Implements a 12‑week work schedule is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimating cost for change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Safety management
• Participation in team meetings
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders
