Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Utility Transportation Intern in Austin to gain real-world experience on transportation projects and to learn standard engineering techniques under the guidance of a professional or Project Manager.

You will work with a team of engineers and mentors, applying procedures and developing problem-solving and communication skills while contributing to HDR's mission to improve mobility and infrastructure for communities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program with an active status.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
• Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed
