Job summary

Macquarie Group, a leading global asset manager, seeks an Analyst in Infrastructure Private Equity, Transportation in New York. You will support sourcing, modelling, and diligence for investments in transportation infrastructure, working with senior leadership to drive value across portfolio companies.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in M&A/direct investing, strong financial acumen, and capability with AI, Excel, and financial modelling.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a M&A or direct investing role.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or mathematics.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, financial modelling and AI.
An understanding of financial statements, accounting, and finance.
Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal, and commercial skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
Highly motivated to learn, drive performance improvement and create shareholder value in new and existing investments.

Responsibilities

Sourcing and executing new investment opportunities in transportation infrastructure.
Lead financial modelling, analysis, and due diligence of target companies.
Collaborate with portfolio company management and participate in board meetings to set strategy.
Help manage performance and drive shareholder value across investments.
