Job summary

HDR seeks a Transportation Hydraulics Engineer to lead drainage design and water resources projects for transportation clients in the Midwest. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
• Professional engineering license (PE or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in drainage engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for transportation projects.
• Lead design calculations and preparation of drainage reports.
• Coordinate project teams and prepare plans for detention facilities, storm drains, and other hydraulic structures.
• Support water resources planning and stormwater permitting efforts.
