We help people love the way they look and feel for their most important moments by delivering personalized products and services through our convenient network of stores and e-commerce sites.About the JobWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hub Supervisor to join our Transportation department.What You’ll Do | Key AccountabilitiesEnsure timely deliveries to the storesDirect daily activities of HUB personnelHelp HUB employees receive, process, load, and unload merchandise and freightDrive HUB routes and deliver merchandise to storesPack and ship merchandise as requiredAdjust HUB routes as necessary to ensure HUB delivery schedules are metAssess current and future needs of the operation and make necessary recommendations to managementScan all drivers’ logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUBReconcile data entry errors, transfer discrepancies and pending transfersEnsure security of all merchandise, equipment, and toolsEnsure only appropriate people are accessing HUB facilitiesAssume ownership of shrink and make necessary actionReview of financial metrics for HUBIdentify opportunities for Cost Savings and make recommendations to ManagementPerform driving function within the parameters set forth by the Transportation Safety departmentPerform facility and equipment inspections and arrange for maintenanceEnsure that work areas are clean and safeReport all injuries to up-line management on a timely basisDiscuss operational issues, personnel issues and metrics with Transportation Manager and other management membersDiscuss business objectives and the results of the team’s efforts with HUB employeesTalk with store operations management to discuss issues relevant to store deliveriesMaintain confidential informationActively support corporate mission statementObserve behaviors and work habits of employeesWrite HUB employee performance evaluationsEvaluate training needs for employeesTrain HUB employees regarding operations and personnel managementMaintain a professional and courteous relationship with stores, customers and vendorsProvide regular communication and feedback to employeesWork Environment, Physical & Mental DemandsAble to sit and remain alert while driving for a period of at least 10 hoursDrive 26 ft. automatic transmission box trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVWSquat or crouch to handle or position freightEnter and exit vehicle cab minimum of 8-10 times per day. Entry and exit will be achieved with the assistance of various steps, footholds, and handholds.
