Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a entry-level Engineering Intern to contribute to geotechnical exploration and design for transportation projects across Tennessee. This role involves field investigations, data collection, analysis, and reporting under supervision.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, data evaluation, and collaboration with engineers and technicians. Travel may be required, with in-office work at TN locations Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville or Memphis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Perform and/or lead field investigations, engineering analysis and calculations.
• Prepare reports or sections of larger reports with data reviews.
• Consult with engineers and supervisors on projects.
• Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
