Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET Accredited Engineering Program.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn across multiple disciplines of transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Gain proficiency with construction plans production.
• Understand geometry design concepts.
• Understand development of pay item quantities and calculations.
• Understand development of project cost estimates.
• Assist with marketing efforts and project research.
• Learn design standards, manuals, and criteria.
• Receive supervision by senior staff on tasks.
• Complete tasks within supervisor expectations.
• Support development of plans, documents, and reports.
• Compile documents in PDF for review or submittal.
