Job summary

Pima County in Tucson is offering year-round, part-time internships for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in engineering or planning programs within the Transportation Department.

You will perform a variety of administrative, operational, and technical tasks, including coordinating stakeholders for transportation planning meetings, using Geographic Information Systems, and engaging in project development and engineering reviews.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university at the undergraduate or graduate level in an engineering or related science discipline appropriate to department's needs.
• Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the Education and Work Experience sections of the application.

• Previous course work in systems, engineering or planning programs is preferred.
