Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Transportation Intern to join our Transportation team. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office and offers hands-on exposure to transportation infrastructure projects, documentation formatting, and project support tasks.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering (ABET-accredited). Familiarity with Open Roads and/or MicroStation is a plus, and internship duration of at least 3 months is

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Structural engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• Familiarity with Open Roads and/or MicroStation software.
• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.

• Support file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scanning as required.

• Utilize company-wide and department-specific software to complete various tasks.
• Engage in specific activities tailored to your assignments, contributing to project success.

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Transportation Intern to join our Transportation team. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications using MicroStation or Open Roads Designer for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Format reports and specifications to support project documentation.
• Support file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scanning as required.
• Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV's organizational structure through diverse assignments.
• Utilize company-wide and department-specific software to complete various tasks.
• Engage in specific activities tailored to your assignments, contributing to project success.

Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Structural engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation Range

$43,391.00 - $49,308.00
