Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in Meridian, Idaho. The intern will support a range of transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies, gaining exposure to real-world civil engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include design and analysis of transportation infrastructure, preparation of drawings and reports, and field data collection under close supervision. Familiarity with Bentley/Autodesk tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and GIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of transportation infrastructure including roadway, drainage, signing and pavement markings.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, memoranda, and specifications.
• Conduct transportation design, modeling, calculations, and quantity take-offs.
• Participate in field investigations, tests, measurements, and site inspections; collect data.
• Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and assist in cost estimates.
• Support permitting, regulatory compliance documentation, and project scheduling.
