Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. seeks a Transportation Engineer in Atlanta, GA to assist in developing and designing infrastructure projects for highway resurfacing and striping.

The role supports multiple projects as part of the Intelligent Mobility Services (IMS) Team, collaborating with project managers and lead engineers. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience and a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, CAiCE) and knowledge of GDOT

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in transportation/civil engineering
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar
• Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering
• Proficiency with CAD particularly AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads and CAiCE
• Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes and budgets with PM and interface with client needs
• Develop resurfacing and striping plans and maintain project schedules
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis and Client quality and safety standards
• Prepare written reports and meeting minutes and present to clients
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
