Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE registration and participation in a professional organization, preferred.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering and surveying tasks under a Project Manager.
• Work independently with minimal oversight.
• Assist with training and oversight of staff.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout and staking.
• Design site civil, municipal, and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
• Prepare reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects.
• Perform construction observation or field services as requested.
• Communicate with project teams in all offices.
• Direct staff on project tasks.
• Provide support for proposal requests, contract preparation, and assistance in project management responsibilities.
• Responsible for assisting in tracking project budgets, but no billing obligations.
• Limited marketing responsibilities.
• Limited client management responsibilities.
• Regular communication with clients, peers, and agencies on projects.
• Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain insurability under the Lynch & Associates Automotive policy to operate a company or personal vehicle to conduct business.
• Assist in any other assigned tasks in support of the Lynch & Associates team.
