Job summary

Burgess & Niple is looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our team in our Mentor, Akron, or Erie office. You will prepare technical designs on transportation projects, mentor junior staff on transportation design, and develop unique and complex solutions to highway/traffic problems for projects and pursuits.

We value collaboration and client engagement, meeting with clients with CSMs to develop scopes and fees, and coordinating with other offices for future pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• PE registration is required.
• 5-10 years of related civil transportation experience.
• Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented.
• Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD plan development.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills.
