Job summary

Campbell Street is seeking a reliable Transportation Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for passengers and goods. You will operate vehicles, assist passengers, and ensure comfort and safety in accordance with routes and company policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and the ability to be insured via MVR checks. CDL may be needed depending on the vehicle; prior driving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL or other required certifications may be necessary depending on vehicle.
• Ability to be insured by company via MVR check.
• Previous driving experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to navigate using maps, GPS, or other navigation tools.
• Physically capable to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers or goods according to routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting and loading/unloading luggage or mobility aids.
• Provide exceptional customer service and a safe, comfortable environment.
• Maintain accurate trip records and report vehicle issues immediately.
• Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained; coordinate with dispatchers on delays or issues.
• Adhere to breaks and work schedules; maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
