Job summary

Lifespace Communities is hiring for The Craig in Amarillo, TX. This role drives residents to scheduled destinations, engages with residents, and maintains the vehicle fleet. A valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred, along with a clean driving record and experience with seniors.

The position is hourly, with a pay range of $14.33 to $19.75 per hour, reflecting responsibilities at a Lifespace community focused on purpose-driven service to older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL may be required for certain vehicles).
• One-year experience driving for seniors preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations).
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations. Track assigned pickups and drop offs to ensure timely service.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc.
