Job summary

Blake’s Lotaburger in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Distribution/Transportation Crew Member for a full-time, non-exempt hourly role. You will be responsible for daily loading and delivery of product to stores, reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, with a starting wage of $24.00–$28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule is Mon-Fri days (4:45am start), weekends off. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip checks, paperwork, and professional store communication to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL and Medical Card required.
• No license restrictions; able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver products to stores as assigned.
• Perform pre- and post-trip checks for deliveries.
• Maintain delivery paperwork including logs, invoices, and fuel receipts.
• Communicate ETA to stores and call supervisor to authorize returns.
• Keep tractor trailer clean and secure, doors/windows intact after routes.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Interact with stores professionally and courteously.

FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT HOURLY POSITION

Position Summary

The Distribution/Transportation Crew Member is responsible for the daily loading and delivery of product to stores as assigned. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.

$24.00-$28.00 per hour - Depending on Experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri days (4:45am start), weekends off

Essential Functions

• Perform pre- and post-trip checks for all deliveries.
• Maintain all paperwork including log books, master sheets, fuel receipts, delivery invoices, over/short sheets, and any other necessary paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with stores to let them know expected arrival time and call supervisor to authorize any store returns.
• Remove all trash from tractor trailer after routes and ensure doors and windows are properly secured before leaving for the day
• Must be able to operate all equipment and have knowledge to maintain equipment to meet compliance guidelines
• Must be able to deliver to assigned routes in a safe and timely manner
• Must work with stores in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities)

• Must possess a current Class A CDL and Medical Card. Must not have license restrictions (can operate both automatic and manual transmissions).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Must be neat and clean in appearance.
• Knowledge of warehouse duties and functions.
• Knowledge of food service and food safety regulations.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and MVR check.

Essential Physical/Emotional Requirements

• Must possess a polite and friendly attitude.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted up and down a ramp.
• The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Must be able to climb, bend and stoop.
