US Foods in Fairburn, GA is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to join our 1:30pm–10:00pm shift. You will coordinate driver activities, verify driver logs per DOT regulations, and work to resolve service issues to meet customer needs.

The role offers paid training and potential overtime, with a starting pay of $25.00 per hour. Ideal candidates will be organized, able to multitask, and experienced in transportation operations; CDL A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and detail oriented; legible handwriting.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 2 years transportation experience required; CDL A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate driver activities to resolve service issues and meet customer needs.
• Verify driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Assign backhauls and coordinate trailer/tractor assignments.
• Communicate concerns to sales and operations to prevent delays; reassign routes as needed.
• Visually inspect driver appearance for proper uniform and PPE; coordinate shuttle assignments.
• Complete attendance reports and distribute intercompany mail; perform other duties as assigned.
