Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Transportation Designer to join our Civil team in Austin, TX. As a Roadway Designer, you will create engineering models, perform analyses, and produce documentation while coordinating drafting for diverse projects with state and local agencies.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; the role involves design calculations, field visits, and collaboration with project teams to meet client needs and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• E.I.T (and desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
• Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks.

• Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.

Transportation Designer

Join our growing Civil team as a Roadway Designer. In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you willcreate engineering models, perform analysis and designs, and produce supporting calculations and documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!

This position will be based out of our Austin, TX office.

What We Are Looking For
