Job summary

Stanley Consultants in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Student Intern to work in the Transportation Market on civil engineering tasks including drainage, highway and airfield design, and site design for local, national, and international projects.

You will collaborate with senior designers to produce quality design documents, perform design computations, and may participate in field tasks while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Must be a college Sophomore and actively enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must possess communication skills.
• Preferred: working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD; prior engineering design software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transportation design and drafting tasks using Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Roadway Design Software.
• Collaborate with senior designers to solve engineering problems and produce high-quality design documents.
• Occasional field-related tasks may be required.
• Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates.
