Job summary

IronStride Solutions, PC is seeking an entry-level Transportation Design Engineer to support traffic- and technology-related transportation projects. The role blends Traffic and ITS engineering on design tasks while coordinating with project teams to meet deadlines.

Transportation Design Engineer - Entry Level

We are currently seeking candidates for an engineering position focused on traffic- and technology-related transportation projects. Job responsibilities will vary based on current projects and the candidate’s level of experience, but will include a blend of Traffic and/or ITS engineering support on design projects.

A successful candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, problem solving, and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree and proficiency with MS Office are required, in addition to strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate for this entry level position can manage and prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines; and preferably brings some experience with traffic engineering, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), CAD, tolling systems, and/or technical writing.
