Job summary

Cumberland County School District is seeking a Bus Driver to support the student transportation services. Responsibilities include transporting students over scheduled routes and ensuring vehicle safety and the safety of students during transport.

The position requires a current TN driver's license with class B CDL and S&P endorsement, along with a completed DOE physical. Employment is contingent on passing background checks and drug screens.

• Complete DOE physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide support within the student transportation services area.
• Transport students over scheduled routes and to/from special excursions.
• Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition.
• Ensure safety of students during transport.

Job description

The job of bus driver was established for the purpose of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilites for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring the safety of students during transport, loading and unloading them.

This job reports to the Transportation Director

182 days per year/4 hours per day
