Performance Food Group in Westminster, MD seeks a Transportation Coordinator to support delivery drivers, ensuring on-time, accurate routes and payroll data.

You will work with the transportation team to track driver information, perform administrative tasks, and communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

The role offers growth opportunities with a stable night-shift schedule Sunday through Thursday.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in transportation environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and data entry tasks.
• Understanding of Department of Transportation regulations preferred.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers!

As a Coordinator, Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers is equipped with the information needed to deliver all products on time and safely. The Coordinator, Transportation supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6+ months in a transportation environment

Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

1+ years in transportation environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry
