Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Coordinator, Transportation to support our delivery drivers and transportation team. You will ensure timely and accurate information flow to drivers, coordinate routes, and assist with administrative tasks critical to smooth operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy in driver data, DOT compliance, and customer-facing communication, contributing to safe, on-time deliveries and an efficient supply chain.

Qualifications

• Administrative support experience and ability to perform basic math and data entry.
• Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Tracks, calculates, and coordinates driver and route information; performs driver check-in.
• Answers and coordinates incoming transportation related phone calls.
• Maintains and tracks all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, and mileage).
• Tracks, inputs, and processes driver payroll data; performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!

As a Coordinator, Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers is equipped with the information needed to deliver all products on time and safely. The Coordinator, Transportation supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications
