Reports To

TMC Transport and Trade Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Oversee trailer assignments and tracking of retail orders.
2. Perform dock audits and investigate causes for ESEDs.
3. Document and identify split shipments and communicate pertinent information to the customer service team.
4. Research overages, shortages, and damages from carriers.
5. Assist in scheduling loads.
6. Identify shipments suitable for alternative shipping methods.
7. Provide daily updates from Shipping to Coordinators on truck departures.
8. Reprint packing lists and commercial invoices when needed.
9. Become proficient in the duties of inbound and outbound clerks.
10. Monitor shipping schedules and communicate any delays to the appropriate teams.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.

Qualifications for the Role

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience plus 1-2 years in a transportation environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail.
