Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer I to join our Boise, Idaho team. The role supports the design and delivery of roadway and multimodal projects, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence 2–3 days per week for collaboration and mentorship.

You will contribute to roadway design elements, coordinate with project teams, and help ensure project schedules and quality deliverables. A BSCE with EIT or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

  • BSCE in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of roadway and multimodal projects for state DOTs and local municipalities.
  • Prepare roadway design elements: horizontal/vertical alignments, typical sections, drainage, traffic control, and ADA facilities.
  • Coordinate with PMs, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet schedules and ensure quality.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer I to join our team in support of transportation design. This position will join our Boise, Idaho office. This position will work a hybrid scheduling coming into the office 2-3 days per week for team and client collaboration, mentorship and integration.

Your Role On The Team
  • Support the design, and delivery of roadway and multimodal transportation projects for state DOTs and local municipalities.

Salary Range

$65,000—$75,000 USD

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee‑owners, we are eligible for performance‑based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
