Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation BIM/CAD Technician for our Austin, Texas office. This role will support transportation engineers by producing 3D CAD models and generating construction plan sets.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with at least 2 years of engineering design experience and proficiency in Microstation and associated software. We offer a hybrid schedule allowing for remote work and a comprehensive benefits package including paid overtime and an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a broad base in engineering design and technical support.
• Proven ability to learn, adapt, and problem-solve to produce accurate and quality deliverables.
• Understanding of project requirements, scope of work, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detail and layout drawings of complex designs.
• Develop and follow individual quality control processes.
• Interface with CAD personnel and project engineers.
