Are you ready to help Amazon deliver world class service in its transportation operations? Transportation Associates will perform trailer moves in the trailer yard, coordinate yard activities (such as checking in trailers, traffic flow, internal communications with operations, etc.), conduct yard audits, complete applicable driver training programs (Hostler, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) School, etc.), and operate multiple vehicle types based on business need (including but not limited to hostlers and day cabs) to support Amazon’s transportation network. If requested due to business need, Transportation Associates must obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Driver Qualification File (DQF) and utilize it as a condition of the role, paid for by Amazon. If Associate is requested to become CDL and DQF certified to drive Over-the‑Road for Amazon, this position becomes regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and follows regulations issued by the DOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The timing of this requirement is dependent on business need. Continuing in the position with CDL and DQF certification is contingent upon the successful completion of a DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screening, a DOT physical and Amazon’s pre‑employment drug test.

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
