Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a patient transport role responsible for the safe and courteous movement of patients within the hospital. You will transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, assist with boarding and disembarking, and coordinate with nurses and physicians to ensure timely care.

Job Summary

40 hr days

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous transportation of patients within the hospital premises.

This role ensures that patients are transported to and from various departments in a manner that prioritizes their comfort and safety.

Safely transport patients using hospital-provided wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds to designated departments or locations.

• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Address patient concerns or needs promptly and respectfully.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transport needs.
• Report any changes in the patient’s condition or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.

Qualifications
