Job summary

Krapf Group in Pennsylvania is seeking an Office Transportation Assistant to support day-to-day district operation functions under the guidance of the Contract or Operations manager.

Primary duties include dispatching vehicles, monitoring compliance, and assisting with transportation budgeting while ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed by all staff involved in routes and driver qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation office operations preferred.
• Must be able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with payroll procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches vehicles and assigns drivers and monitors to routes.
• Monitors and enforces compliance to transportation processes, policies and procedures.
• Executes the Transportation budget in conjunction with the supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation, State, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and school district regulations.
• Manage driver qualification and background check document collection.
• Facilitates the drug and alcohol screening program for safety sensitive positions.
• Inputs and oversees all time and labor entries for department for supervisor approval.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Dispatches vehicles and assigns drivers and monitors to routes
• Monitors and enforces compliance to transportation processes, policies and procedures
• Executes the Transportation budget in conjunction with the supervisor

Requirements

• Work experience as a Transportation Assistant or similar office role
• Good knowledge of payroll procedures
• Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
