Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers in Pennsylvania to oversee safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will lead Lean initiatives, analyze root causes, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

You will train and mentor hourly staff, manage performance, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining a strong safety culture and compliance with OSHA standards. Inclusive, customer-focused leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

You and your team of Transportation Associates are responsible for Amazon customers receiving their orders. You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs. Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
