Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Transportation Analyst in Charlotte, NC to support transportation planning, daily shipment execution, customer service, and performance reporting across the transportation network.

You will combine analytical problem solving with service-oriented communication to improve shipment visibility, monitor on-time performance, and analyze trends and exceptions for carriers, internal partners, and operations teams.

Qualifications

3–5 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Transportation Analysis in CPG, Food Beverage or 3rd Party Logistics.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with logistics optimization tools such as Appian, Paragon, JDA/Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

Review shipment demand, routing requirements, carrier capacity, and schedules to support planning.
Monitor shipment execution and provide timely status updates and exception handling.
Respond to inquiries and coordinate follow-up on carrier issues with internal partners.
Track and report KPIs: on-time pickup/delivery, timing, and service trends.
Analyze delays and root causes to identify improvement opportunities.
