Job summary

Techtronic Industries - TTI in Anderson, SC is seeking a Transportation Analyst to optimize carrier selection, manage freight spend, and support global logistics. You will work with distribution, sales, finance, brokers, and providers to ensure cost-efficient movement of goods.

The role requires 3+ years in transportation or logistics, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with TMS/ERP systems, Incoterms, and HTS classifications.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with ocean/air/truckload/LTL/intermodal shipping.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export processes, HTS classifications.

Responsibilities

• Source cost-effective air/ocean/surface carriers and obtain required approvals.
• Review carrier invoices; research discrepancies and document findings.
• Create and maintain KPI scorecards and transport databases (cost per mile, on-time delivery, freight cost).
• Analyze processes to identify cost savings and service improvements.
• Distribute inbound container information and monitor demurrage/detention costs; report monthly.
• Assess carrier network and recommend changes for capacity and cost competitiveness.
• Provide freight cost estimates for new projects and launches.
• Coordinate export shipments and review shipping documentation.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to provide status updates on shipments.
• Assist with domestic and international transportation and customs compliance.
