Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare seeks a Transportation Aide - CNA to ensure residents are transported safely to appointments and activities, while providing attentive care and maintaining calm, compassionate interaction.

You will drive residents, monitor comfort and safety, report health changes, assist with mobility, and support CNA duties when not transporting residents. Requires Texas CNA certification and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement).
• Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Pass the DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Complete the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with both caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Ensure resident comfort by monitoring safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition during transport and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Monitor vital signs when needed during transport.
• Support the team by assisting with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.

We're seeking a dependable Transportation Aide - CNA to join our team! This important role ensures residents are safely transported to and from appointments and activities while receiving attentive care. Success in this position requires professionalism, strong patient care skills, and safe driving practices at all times.

Your Impact as a Transportation Aide - CNA

In this role, you will:

• Safely Transport Residents: Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities

• Ensure Resident Comfort: Monitor safety and comfort throughout transport

• Observe & Report: Watch for changes in residents' condition during transport and report any concerns promptly

• Assist with Mobility: Help residents ambulate and transfer using assistive devices and proper technique

• Monitor Vital Signs: Record vitals when needed during transport

• Support the Team: Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents
