Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Aide - CNA to safely transport residents to appointments and activities while delivering compassionate care.

You will drive with a clean record, assist with mobility, monitor residents' condition, and report any concerns. The role supports CNA duties when not transporting, requiring strong communication and patience in a caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement).
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Able to pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Completes Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Is comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely Transport Residents: Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities
• Ensure Resident Comfort: Monitor safety and comfort throughout transport
• Observe & Report: Watch for changes in residents' condition during transport and report any concerns promptly
• Assist with Mobility: Help residents ambulate and transfer using assistive devices and proper technique
• Monitor Vital Signs: Record vitals when needed during transport
• Support the Team: Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents
