Job summary

Cox Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Aide to provide reliable transportation for residents to healthcare facilities. The role includes assisting with moving residents and occasional facility maintenance, following the transportation schedule, and documenting activities.

The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to push/pull residents, with responsibilities extending to coordinating with the facility team and attending in-service programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to residents based on the transport schedule.
• Transport residents to and from appointments.
• Move residents about the facility and in/out of hospitals.
• Maintain and document transportation activities.
• Attend facility in-service programs.
• Report changes of condition to the charge nurse.
• Possess a valid driver's license and assist with pushing/pulling residents.
• Communicate key transportation information to the facility team.

Job Summary:

Provides transportation to and from healthcare facilities for residents of Skilled Nursing Facility. This Job also will require some maintenance to the facility at times.

Duties:

Works with management to provide transportation to residents based on transportation schedule.

Provides, completes, and documents resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.

Attends and participates in facility in-service programs about transportation needs.

Reports any change of condition to charge nurse.

• Must be capable of independently working on the following for transportation
• Transporting residents to and from appointments
• Moving residents about the facility
• Moving residents in an out of hospitals, and healthcare facilities
• Managing transportation schedule
• Communicating key information to facility team regarding transportation

Transportation position requires a valid drivers license

Employee must be able to push, pull, move residents to and from wheel chair.
