Job summary

Nexus in Iowa is seeking a Transportation Team Member to haul grain from our location to end users and to pick up grain from farms as assigned. You will follow designated routes, perform pre-trip and safety checks, and keep vehicles clean to uphold our company image.

The role requires good customer service, teamwork, flexibility for overtime, and a valid Class A CDL (or willingness to obtain). Safety compliance is essential for timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Able to work unpredictable schedule
• Has or willing to obtain Class A CDL

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of products in an assigned territory.
• Observe safety guidelines in accordance with Company policy, federal & state safety rules.
• Follow designated delivery routes to minimize and reduce miles driven.
• Perform daily safety checks on all vehicles and equipment and properly document/report any safety hazards immediately.
• Always utilize good customer service skills, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
• Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Keeps vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company image.
• Assist with other locations, as needed.
• Must be a team player.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

TheTransportation Team Member will be responsible for hauling grain out of the location to the assigned end user. They will also be tasked with hauling grain off the farm when assigned.
