Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to move patients, charts, and equipment across units, ensuring safety and timeliness in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role supports patient care teams and adheres to the hospital’s mission and values. Education required is a High School Diploma or equivalent; prior transport or healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background check and hospital orientation may be required.
• Must be able to transport patients and equipment safely within hospital.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, charts, and required equipment to treatment and diagnostic areas safely and efficiently.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment as needed.
• Perform duties in alignment with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Patient Transporter, the Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting patient, charts and required equipment to various treatment and diagnostic areas throughout the hospital in a safe and efficient manner. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
