Delivers medical records, test results, specimens, mail, medical supplies, equipment, medication, isolation gowns, and other items as requested. Meet the performance standards for moving patients and objects. (80%)* Assist in transfer process of patients from bed to mode of transportation and mode of transportation back to bed. Request and obtain instruction/assistance from nursing staff for patients that require isolation techniques, two-person lifts, oxygen during transport, or that have support devices requiring special handling. (10%)* Adheres to corporate citizenship standards as well as all regulatory and corporate requirements and expectations. Actively participate in facility/department programs, training, performance improvement and maintains a professional image at all times. Adheres to department attendance policy.
