On‑call Pay: On call pay starts at $2.75/hour. Required to work a minimum of four 12‑hour on‑call shifts per month, scheduled either from 4:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m. Availability for holidays, weekends, and overnight shifts is required.
Under close supervision of the Jail Administrator, an employee in this class performs law enforcement work including ancillary County Jail functions. Responsible for transporting inmates. Performs related work as required. This work may involve an element of personal danger.
