Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated truck driver to operate a tractor-trailer and deliver Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina to communities safely and on time. This full-time role requires adherence to DOT regulations and accurate log keeping.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist with loading/unloading, obtain delivery authorizations, and maintain required documentation while on long-haul routes. Training is provided, with a fast-paced environment and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to bend, lift 20–45 pounds, climb in/out of cabs and sit for long periods.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a tractor/trailer to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of finished products and materials/supplies
• Check and/or assist in the loading and unloading of the trailer, ensuring product is handled safely
• Obtain proper authorization for all deliveries and pick-ups and maintain required transport documentation
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure proper and safe operating conditions
• Maintain a DOT drivers log, follow all DOT regulations, and ensure the safety and compliance of each load, including driving in adverse weather and staying overnight when required

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class A License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds (with or without accommodation)
