Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a full-time Transport Driver. You will operate a company vehicle along an established route to deliver products and support the school dining program.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with no nights or weekends and a $17.00 per hour pay rate. Prior food bulk delivery experience is required, and a valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills focused on service quality.
• Valid driver's license and safe operation of company vehicles per traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Responds to transport requests with urgency to meet delivery times.
• Follows department protocols using the dispatch system.
• Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Completes necessary logs and reports.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Resolves or reports vehicle, building, safety issues to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are hiring immediately for a full time TRANSPORT DRIVER position.
