Job summary

Plains All American is seeking a Crude Oil Transport Driver in Texas to safely operate tanker trucks, test crude oil, gauge tanks and document data. Expect local home-daily routes with day and night shifts available in selected areas, and a strong emphasis on safety and FMCSA compliance.

Eligible candidates have a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, plus at least two years of truck driving ( tanker experience preferred ).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years truck driving experience required.
• 2 years tanker transport experience preferred.
• CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Pass criminal, drug and driving record screenings; DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate crude oil/product transport trucks.
• Connect hoses and monitor unloading/loading processes.
• Inspect trucks per DOT requirements and safety checks.
• Wear breathing apparatus when necessary.
• Climb storage tanks while carrying gauging equipment.
• Gauge tanks and test crude oil.
• Record data on on-board computer.
• Possible shift swaps with another driver; day/night shifts available.
