Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Transport Driver to move towable and motorized RVs to various locations from our Jacksonville, FL operation. This role supports the RV Buying Department as part of a team dedicated to reliable deliveries and excellent customer service.

Essential duties include safe operation of vehicles, coordination with dispatch, and proper documentation. Some travel outside the Jacksonville area may be required; a valid license and clean driving record are necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Minimum of two years towing/transport experience preferred.
• Ability to drive company vehicle; perform standard safety checks; operate towing equipment; use basic tools; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport RVs to Campers Inn stores, customer locations or other sites as needed.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with dispatch.
• Communicate effectively with customers for deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain paperwork related to pickups and drop-offs.
• Some travel outside of Jacksonville, FL area may be required.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Ability to perform standardized safety checks
  • Ability to operate towing equipment
  • Ability to use basic tools
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
