Job summary

BlueBonnet Rehab in Ennis, TX is seeking a reliable Transport Driver to ensure safe and courteous transportation of residents to and from appointments. Experience with a passenger van or bus is preferred, and a valid Texas driver's license is required.

You will keep a neat appearance, complete transportation logs, refuel as needed, assist residents on/off the van, and follow policy in case of an accident. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
• Experience operating a passenger van or bus preferred.
• Must have a Basic CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
• Complete transportation log and other required forms and turn them into the office staff bi-weekly in a timely manner.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Assist residents in getting on and off the van.
• Follow City policy guidelines in the event of an accident.
• Make sure replacement driver is available in case of absence.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean condition, including taking the vehicle to be washed/cleaned as necessary.
• When no transports are scheduled, assist other departments as needed.
• Attend mandatory in-service meetings.
