Ohio Ambulance Solutions is seeking Transport Attendants to join the Mobility Assistance Department to provide safe, compassionate non-emergency transport for individuals with behavioral health, developmental, cognitive, mobility, or other specialized support needs.
This role is more than driving; you’ll help create a safe, respectful, and positive experience for every passenger while adhering to privacy requirements and coordinating with a team across facilities and caregivers.
To be eligible for this position, you must be able to pass a drug screen and FBI/BCI background check.

You don\'t necessarily need previous healthcare or transportation experience. We’re looking for people who are:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Experience in medical or wheelchair transportation, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, direct care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, or working with special needs populations is a plus.

Our Transport Attendants work as part of a team to provide safe and compassionate transportation. Depending on passenger needs, vehicles may be staffed by one or two qualified team members.
You may work in healthcare facilities, residential settings, community locations, and company vehicles. This position may involve outdoor work, various weather conditions, and occasional extended or non-traditional hours. You must be able to physically assist passengers with entering, exiting, and transferring when needed.
Because you\'ll be working with individuals receiving healthcare-related services, confidentiality is essential. Employees must follow HIPAA and Ohio Ambulance Solutions privacy requirements and protect passenger information at all times.
