Job summary

Care New England is seeking a patient transporter to support 4 West/4 East and other departments as needed. You will assist with safe patient movement and ensure accurate task recording in TDSS.

Responsibilities include providing courteous escort, applying proper body mechanics, and maintaining clean, disinfected transport equipment while upholding patient confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English are required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document transport tasks in the TDSS system and ensure patient identification.
• Disinfect transport equipment after use and manage equipment distribution within assigned areas.

Job Summary

Transports patients primarily in support of activities related to 4 West and 4 East. Transport willengage in transport activities supporting other departments as available.

Duties & Responsibilities

Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care of all patient populations.
Provides service as a patient escort, using correct body mechanics, for patients of all populations.
Receives and accurately records transport tasks in TDSS while ensuring positive patientidentification.
Disinfects patient transport equipment after use and ensures proper distribution oftransport equipment in areas of responsibility.

Preserves and protects patients' rights to confidentiality.
Performs other job-related duties as required or requested.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency required. Must have good interpersonal skills and be fluent in the English language.
