Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Transplant Pulmonology Clinician-Educator for a full-time Assistant Clinical Professor role. You will provide patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings at the Miami Transplant Institute and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

This position involves teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and requires a valid M.D. or D.O. degree along with ABIM certification in Pulmonology. Candidates should also possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements.
• Experience working and teaching in an academic setting highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult outpatients and inpatients.
• Attend multidisciplinary transplant conferences and rounds.
• Precept trainees in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education.

Specialized training in transplant pulmonology

Education

M.D. or D.O. from an ABIM recognized internal medicine residency

Valid ABIM Certification in Pulmonology
